Bangladesh captain Shakib al Hasan was disappointed to lose the last match of the tri-series against Pakistan yet satisfied with the team's performance.
Bangladesh tried another new opening pair with Soumya Sarkar partnering Najmul Hossain Shanto but they once again failed.

Litton Das, who brushed off an early leg strain to put in a gutsy performance, and captain Shakib both scored half-centuries for Bangladesh. The captain feels that it was their best match in the tournament.
"It's been difficult (on the series). We played our best game today. We could have scored more in the last over with the bat," said Shakib.
Though, Bangladesh were able to set a strong target of 174 runs the bowlers could not deliver up to the mark. As a result, the Tigers signed off the tournament without registering any victory.
"The position we were in we could have scored more but if you gave me 170 at the start of the innings, I'd have taken that. We're clear on our plans for the World Cup. My bowling's not been up to the mark," he added.
