BCB releases statement on financial transactions amid ongoing speculations

Bangladesh Tigers defeated the BCB High-Performance Unit by nine wickets in a four-day match at Shahid Kamaruzzaman Stadium on Sunday.
Tigers were raised first by bowlers Tanvir Islam and Abu Haider Rony, and then batters Imrul Kayes and Nayeem Sheikh batted undefeated in pursuit of a short score.
The HP team had set 127 runs for the Bangladesh Tigers to chase on the final day of the contest.

The Tigers made it to the coast in 22.3 overs, losing one wicket, Soumya Sarkar [9]. Soumya, a left-handed batter, had scored 81 runs in the first three innings of the game.

Both Imrul and Nayeem had failed in the game's opening innings. On the day, though, the partnership created a match-winning 111-run stand for the second wicket, with Imrul remaining unbeaten on 68 runs and Nayeem scoring 47 not out.
Imrul scored his half-century in 61 deliveries, with the help of eight boundaries and one over boundary, and he added two more over boundaries later in the innings.
Nayeem, on the other hand, discovered six borders and one over-the-top boundary.
Left-arm spinner Tanvir picked four wickets conceding 35 runs in 21.5 overs for Bangladesh Tigers.
BCB HP had scored 227 runs in the first innings after being asked to bat first. In response, Bangladesh Tigers grabbed a 91-run advantage and scored 318 runs, led by Soumya Sarkar's 81 and Fazley Rabbi's 89.
