Rashid has been an integral part of Lahore Qalandars. In the five matches, he has picked up four wickets while also scoring 54 runs at a strike-rate of 270 in PSL.

The Afghan team is set to arrive in Dhaka on Feb 12 and train in Sylhet before traveling to Chattogram. However, Rashid is likely to arrive after Feb 19 which means he will miss the Sylhet camp.

Chattogram will host all the three ODIs, which count towards the World Cup Super League. Dhaka will then stage the T20I series.

Afghanistan will play three ODIs and two T20s in Bangladesh. The teams will lock horns in first ODI on February 23. The remaining two matches of the ODI series will be played on February 25 and 28, respectively. The T20 series will begin on March 3 and the second match will be played on March 5.
