Sachin Tendulkar tests positive for COVID-19

Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar has been tested positive for the global pandemic novel COVID-19. He has announced the news on social media on Saturday. The former India player has further added that he has mild symptoms and no other member in his family has been affected by the coronavirus yet. He has been in the isolation and maintaining all the guidelines as well.
"I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative. I've quarantined myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols as advised by my doctors," the batting legend tweeted.

"I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country," he further added.
Recently, he had participated in the Road Safety World Series, where he led the team to the title win also. He was seen in his usual devastating form in the tournament and scored two fifties for his side as well.
The 'God of Cricket', Sachin Tendulkar has played for India from 1989 to 2013. Even after retiring from the game, Tendulkar holds the record of most runs in ODIs and in the longer format as well and he is the only cricketer to have played 200 games in the Tests as well.
