National team all-rounder Nasir Hossain joked that he is willing to auction his 80 SIM cards but added that people’s misconception about him makes him laugh these days.

The 28-year-old right-handed batsman made his debut for the Bangladesh team in 2011 against Zimbabwe but after his injury and for so many controversies he has been an irregular player in the team.

In 2016 there was a social media breakout of the all-rounder having 80 SIM cards which he uses in his 12 handsets. This information created a fuss among the fans at that time. After four years Nasir has finally pointed out about it and said that a normal mentality person can't use this much SIM cards, though jokingly he said that he wants to auction his SIM cards.

"Yes, my 80 SIMs will be auctioned. The numbers which are good are a little expensive. No, not really, people say these sorts of things, it has become our culture. If you are a mentally healthy person then how do you think that a person can use 80 SIMs? It's impossible. There are some poor YouTubers who are making money by selling my name," Nasir said that in a Facebook live session with Cricfrenzy.

Nasir also said that he used to feel bad about it in the beginning but not anymore now. Also, he said that if his family consider him good then nothing else matters to him, not only that in this internet generation news and articles became easily accessible so whenever a person of his family sees something negative about him they feel bad but never expressed their feelings in front of Nasir rather than always helped him in his hard times.

"I felt bad in the beginning about how people are taking it but now I laugh about it. Because people will say it is normal, you can't shut people's mouths. And people talk about those people who they feel jealous about. They think about me it's the most important thing for me. Whether it is in a negative or positive way. I'm with my family. My parents think I'm good then I'm good for the whole of Bangladesh and if they say I'm bad then I'm bad," he added.

"Obviously family will get the effect, when there will be such news about me and it is the generation of social media, the internet, everyone sees it. But nobody in my family said anything to me directly but I do know that they get hurt. But they always supported me whatever the situation I had gone through," Nasir concluded.
