Muktar Ali cameo helps Chattogram post 144-6

Muktar Ali scored a valuable 29 off 14 towards the end as Chattogram Challengers piled up 144-6 against Khulna Tigers in the special edition of Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BBPL) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday.
Khulna Tigers won the toss and decided to bat first after which their bowlers stifled Chattogram for runs. Chattogram won their first match against Sylhet Thunder by five wickets.
Lendle Simmons scored 26 while Nasir Hossain made 24 for Challengers. Their middle-order batsmen, however, couldn’t convert their innings to a big one and at one point they were in danger to score fewer runs what they made eventually.
However, Muktar Ali gave them the late impetus as he struck for towering sixes in his 14 ball-29. Thanks to his fluent knock, Chattogram amassed 51 runs in the last five overs.
Robbie Frylinck, Shafiul Islam, Shahidul Islam took one wicket apiece for Khulna.
