How the things pan out on opening day of D/N Test

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee reached the Club House of Eden Gardens in the afternoon.
Mamata reached first, followed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The dignitaries were received by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan and Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly along with others.
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina along with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee rang the ceremonial bell for the opening of the second Test cricket match of the two-match Test series between Bangladesh and India this afternoon.

They rang the bell at 12:55 pm (local time) to inaugurate the landmark Test match that will be played with ‘pink ball’ from November 22 to 26 at the Eden Gardens stadium here. The Prime Minister earlier arrived at the Eden Gardens at 12:25 pm.
Sheikh Hasina watched the first session of the final match of a two-match Test series between Bangladesh and India, at 1:00pm (local time).
The Prime Minister earlier made her introduced and exchanged greetings with the players of the two teams – Bangladesh and India – in the field. In the first-ever day-night match for the two teams, Tigers won the toss and chose to bat first.
There were two sets of sofa set up in the lawn of the clubhouse where Sheikh Hasina and Mamta sat.
Indian cricket legends including Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble on Friday revisited their glorious on-field moments at Eden Gardens, the venue for the country first ever day-night Test.
In a special programme during the lunch break on the opening day of the India-Bangladesh pink-ball Test, Tendulkar, Kumble, Harbhajan Singh and VVS
Laxman relived some of the iconic moments at the famous venue, including the1993 Hero Cup final versus West Indies and the 2001 Test versus Australia.
Though Rahul Dravid was expected to grace the show as he failed to catch the plane he was replaced by Harbhajan Singh in the show.
During the tea breaks, twelve golf carts entered from the Ambulance gate as each of them carried a former India captain and some other invited Indian athletes to take a lap of honour in that cart on the play-ground.
An instrumental musical performance was delivered by Sorendru and his group from a small stage outside the BCR and adjacent to B block, towards the field of play at that point of time.
