Bangladesh Test skipper Mominul Haque said that they were mentally behind against Indian bowling attack in the first innings of their opening Test match at Indore.
India were trailing by just 64 runs as they reached 86-1 in 26 overs at stumps of the first day’s play after dismissing Bangladesh for 150 runs in 58.3 overs in the first innings.
The decision to bat first backfired after new Test skipper Mominul opted for it as most of the batsman failed to apply them in the middle.

Whether you win the toss or lose the toss when your team collapses than certain question will arise regarding the decision,’’ Mominul told reporters at the press conference on Thursday.
‘’We were bundled out cheaply and I think it was my fault and my decision was bad,’’ he said.
‘’I think we adapted well when me and Mushfiqur bhai was batting. Mushfiqur bhai played well while Liton also played well. It was my fault to get out at that time because if I could have played a better innings with Mushfiqur bhai and we could be in a better position now,’’ he said.
‘’I made a very technical mistake in my batting and was out .i think we prepared well for the test match. I have played 9 four day matches in the last 5 months, you cannot have better preparation than that .i have not played against these world class bowler before. In international cricket, u have to be mentally strong .the opponents are mentally very strong,’’ he said.
‘’The wicket was not unplayable in my opinion. I think we are playing against the number one bowling side in the world. We have to be mentally stronger to play against them,’’ he said.
‘’We were mentally behind against them. If the wicket was unplayable than lot of batsmen would be hit in the body. The wicket was not unplayable our decision making was wrong,’’ he said.
