Ending all speculations the ongoing feud between Bangladesh Cricket Board and the cricketers were resolved on Wednesday as the board agreed to most of the demands put up the players that eventually made lift the strike called by them.

India series was on doubt as they called a strike on October 21 after putting up a 11 points demand and it seemed to be moving into wrong directions as they included two more demands and sent it to the board for consideration on Wednesday.

However, BCB officials looked adamant to solve the problem as quickly as possible and end the ongoing crisis and eventually managed to do it successfully.

As a result, it helped the cricket to resume in the cricket-mad nation as the National Cricket League will start from next Saturday while the national players will be available in the preparation camp for the upcoming India series, scheduled to start from October 25.

We have agreed to meet up most of their demands,’’ Nazmul Hasan told reporters in a joint press conference where Shakib al Hasan was sitting beside him at the board room.

‘’We had earlier decided to cancel the third round of the NCL but as the players decided to play we have shifted them on next Saturday.

‘’The national camp will start from October 25,’’ he said that removed all the speculation hovering around regarding the upcoming tour of India, scheduled to start from November 3.

They had sent 11 demands where BCB had nothing to do with the CWAB related demand while we have decided to agreed on the remaining demands apart from the one where it was stated that a players will be allowed to play in more than two franchise-based tournament,’’ he said.

We will take the decision regarding participation in the franchise based cricket on case to case basis,’’ he said.

Shakib said that they are happy as most of the demand was met.
