Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan said on Tuesday that their upcoming tour of Pakistan is dependent on security clearance and they can only go on with it once they are assured of the security.
Bangladesh Under-17 team is expected to travel to Pakistan on October 22 while the following day Women’s national cricket team is expected to tour Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh national cricket team is expected travel to Pakistan in February to play two tests and three Twenty20 internationals.
However, according to BCB boss all these tours are subject to security clearance.
‘’We did not discuss Pakistan series there. One inspection team will visit. Everything is depending on their inspection report. A security team is going, as far as we heard we have to wait. Because they have sent us a letter saying that they will go on November 17. After that, we can make the final decision, while we will have the report. This is not completely in our hand. Protection is the major thing for us. If the protection is not top-notch, then there will be nothing,’’ he said.
‘’Everyone, women’s team, under-17 all are equal when it comes to the question of security. If we can get the security clearance then we can send. Otherwise, we don’t have any problem. We are totally prepared. But we need the clearance from the top high level of the government,’’ he said.
