With missing out names like- Shakib Al Hasan for his CPL (Caribbean Premier League) duties and an ankle-scratched-Mustafizur Rahman, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had made the first the two rounds of the ongoing National Cricket League (NCL), mandatory for all the available national team players as the Tigers team to visit India in November.
After the first tier of the domestic longer format league, opener Imrul Kayes was one of the positive emissions among all the mix results that BCB selectors will surely keep in their mind while they will be drafting the squad for the upcoming tour.

Having left out of the national team’s Test side for almost a year now, opener Imrul’s 202 knock off 319 balls, will surely create a chance to make the door open for the opener.
Chief selector Minhajul Abedin said that they are well aware regarding the double century of Imrul Kayes while added that they are looking forward how others fare in the second phase of the national cricket league.
‘’There is no stop is seeing and those who will perform will always be in our eyes,’’ Minhajul told reporters on Tuesday.
‘’He passed a tough time and it is nice to see that he is back into form and as he regained his form naturally his name will be discussed in our next selection meeting,’’ he said
