Bangladesh can heave a sigh of relief as young leg spinner Aminul Islam is looking all set to be available in the final of the tri-nation as he began bowling despite sustaining three stitches in his hand.
The injury had certainly ruled him out of their next game against Afghanistan but the way he was bowling at the center wicket Tigers can surely say that they can be hopeful about his appearance in the all important final at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on September21. Desperate to find a winning formula, Bangladesh have turned to two debutants for their last two group-stage matches of the T20I tri-series at home: Aminul Islam, a young batsman who bowls a bit of leg-spin.

Aminul had his fair share of ups and downs on his T20I debut versus Zimbabwe on Wednesday (September 18) as the teenager picked up a couple of scalps with his legspin, including that of Zimbabwe's skipper Hamilton Masakadza.
However, it also turned out to be a bittersweet day for the youngster as he suffered a hand injury and looks set to be ruled out of Bangladesh's next game versus Afghanistan. In the ninth over of Zimbabwe's innings, Masakadza drilled one back at the debutant and in an attempt to stop it from racing away to the boundary boards, Aminul sustained the injury and needed three stitches on his left-hand.
However, Aminul bowled quite a few overs in the middle despite wearing a bandage on his hand as he sustained injury on his debut match against Zimbabwe as a ball hit by Hamilton Masakadza forced him to have a stitch on his hand.
The absence of Aminul looked to have forced the team management to see how Sabbir Rahman fare as leg spinner as he was also seen bowling in tandem while the way left-arm spinner Taijul Islam had his bowling session chalked out his inclusion against Afghanistan cannot be as a huge surprise.
