The rain delayed the start of the fifth and last day’s match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan in one-off Test on Monday at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram and thereby gave the hosts a chance to save the match.
That poor weather delayed the start, left Afghanistan scratching their hair with utmost disappointment as they are just four wickets away to clinch a famous victory.

Bangladesh is 136-6 and is needs 262 runs with four wickets hands to seal the victory as Afghanistan set them an improbable 398-run target.
Bangladesh’s successful chase in their history was just 217, when West Indies gave them a target of 215 to win at St Georges in 2009.
Afghanistan however rued for batting 30 minutes on the rain-marred fourth day, that many believes didn’t help their cause.
They had already taken 374-run lead after the third day’s game and many believes they could declare their innings on fourth day before batting for 30 minutes and in that case they could get adequate time on fourth day to seal the deal.
However Afghanistan social media manager Syed Hazrat Sadat said the team is praying to rain allow them just one hour as they are confident that this one hour is enough to seal the deal.
