Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah said on Sunday that media misinterpreted the dressing room saga that was revealed during the World Cup.
According to media reports, Mahmudullah had created a scene in the dressing room during the World Cup after he was not warmly received in the dressing following his heroics against Afghanistan.
Since the news broke out in media regarding his rift in the dressing room during the Sri Lanka tour of Bangladesh, it was the first time Mahmudullah spoke with the media.

‘’I think it is better not to talk about those things and so don’t want to make any comment about it. The only thing I can say is that some of things did not happened the way it was presented and it could have been presented in a different way. I just want to say this much. I don’t think I have any clash with anyone in the team and we are very good friends,’’ Mahmudullah told reporters when his attention was drawn regarding the issue at the BCB academy premises on Sunday after completing his individual training session.
‘’You can come into the dressing room and see how we talk and make fun among us from juniors to senior. I am trying my hundred percent so that I can stay happily with my team mates and want to do same in future,’’ he said. Later Mahmudullah through a facebook post cleared the air between him and Shakib al Hasan, who apparently wanted him to be dropped after the England game.
‘’I don’t have any problem with Shakib and we are very good friends since the time we are playing,’’ he was quoted in the Facebook post.
