Learnt a lot working with the Bangladesh team: Walsh

BCB

Former Bangladesh bowling coach Courtney Walsh said, he has learnt a lot from Bangladesh Cricket and from there he got the point that good communication is very important in thriving in this job.
He, however, said that he wants to improve in this aspect.

"I learnt a lot about the international game, being around Bangladesh set-up, and one of the things that we underestimate in the region is communication. Good communication is something that can affect the on-field activities and this is something I believe needs to improve right away,” Walsh said in a recent interview.
Walsh has coached Bangladesh bowlers for almost three years. He had some success with the team and he had also seen some bad performance too. In World Cup Bangladeshi bowlers were very ordinary as they failed to pick up early wickets in most of the matches, which cost them dearly. So, after the poor World Cup performance, BCB decided not to renew the contract of Walsh.
Walsh is currently staying in England and he is planning to become the bowling coach of his native country West Indies.
Walsh is currently not among the works. But there are rumours that he can be the bowling coach of Jamaica Tallawahs in the Carribean Premier League (CPL). But no official announcement has been made yet.
