Captain Imrul Kayes who is leading the Bangladesh A team against touring Afghanistan A said the people couldn’t imagine Afghans’ strength sitting outside of the ground.

 Bangladesh A’s struggle against visiting Afghanistan A team players looked horrible and raised a question about the future of country’s cricket.

Kayes said they way the Afghan players have been playing sometimes they seemed to be like Indian players or players of other countries.

War-torn Afghanistan players have adopted venue in India because they haven’t have any facilities to play cricket in their own country. Still they demolished a proper Test nation like Bangladesh in such utmost power that left everyone in shocking state.

Afghanistan A had already won the two-match four-day series by 1-0 and ahead by 2-1 in five-match one-day series. They could have already won the one-day series unless the rain washed out the fourth game between the two sides on Saturday.

Bangladesh A was criticized vehemently for their poor performance but Kayes admitted they are no match for the Afghans power.

 “Sometimes I didn’t think they are Afghan players. Watching their game, sometimes it seemed they are Indian players or players of other teams. You can’t take them lightly. They have been playing good cricket.”
