Sachin hails ‘Bangladesh brand of cricket’

Indian legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar heaped shower of praise on Bangladesh saying the Tigers played consistently well in this edition of World Cup.
Bangladesh won three victories in this World Cup against South Africa, West Indies and Afghanistan. Although Bangladesh is out of contention for the semifinal, their spirited show impressed Sachin.
"We talk about Bangladesh brand of cricket... this is the best I have seen of Bangladesh," said Sachin.
"They [Bangladesh] have played well in this tournament. It's not just one-off good performance. They have consistently played well. Credit to them,” added Sachin.
Bangladesh lost against India by 28 runs and with that their semifinal hope turned into dust. If Bangladesh could have built some partnership against India they could have gone much closer to the total, Sachin believes.
“Even today, if those partnerships had flourished... then the game would have gotten even closer," Concluded Sachin.
Bangladesh’s spirited performance in this World Cup has caught everyone’s eye. Bangladesh scored their highest ever total in ODI’s [333 runs] in this World Cup. Tigers chased down 322-run target against West Indies in just 41.3 overs.
Number one all-rounder Shakib al Hasan has become the first player to score 500+ runs and pick up more than 10 wickets in a World Cup. Although Bangladesh is out of the World Cup they have lots of positives to take from the cricket’s biggest carnival.
Bangladesh will play their match against Pakistan on July 5 at Lords. The match will start at 3.30 pm (BD Time).
