Soumya awaits for his chance in County

Bangladesh opener Soumya Sarkar expressed his desire to play the County Cricket as he wants to improve his batting skills.
The dashing left-hand opener has recently revealed that he is awaiting for his chance.
Tamim Iqbal, Shakib al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh have the experience of playing in the County. Tamim played for Nottinghamshire, Shakib played for Worcestershire while Mustafiz played for Sussex.
Bangladesh doesn’t get much opportunity to play in the English condition, which could enable them to cope with the pace-friendly wicket and swing.
The wicket in Bangladesh naturally doesn’t tend to be conducive for the pacer and assist them to swing the ball.
“I would like to play in the County Cricket. I hope this opportunity will come. I always wanted to play in the County cricket because it will help me to improve my game,” said Soumya.
“ We play many matches outside of Bangladesh. If I get an opportunity to play in the County before away series then definitely I would love to play. If the opportunity appears, I want to play in the County,” added Soumya.
Soumya didn’t participate in any foreign domestic league yet. This World Cup was his first interaction with the English condition.
Soumya said, he struggled to cope up with this English condition and it was a big challenge for him.
“Playing in different conditions is a challenging job. I gathered experience about English condition with this World Cup,” he said.
Soumya was in red hot from before the World Cup. He scored the first double hundred as a Bangladeshi batsman in the domestic league just before the cricket’s biggest carnival.
