Bangladesh head coach Steve Rhodes expressed his plan about the younger players of the Bangladesh team, stating that he is looking after the young players in a way so that they can take the decisions of their own.

For this he wants younger players to take some more responsibility during the match and also in the practice. Rhodes believes Bangladesh will be a better team if the young players develop their decision-making skills on the field.

“ As a coach, my plan is to give some responsibility to the young players during fielding and practice, so that they can make decisions and learn from there. I think, in this way young players will perform even better. Then everybody will say that this is a good squad.” Rhodes said in an interview with cricinfo.

Steve Rhodes has been coaching Bangladesh national team for a year now. Before this he coached different teams in the County cricket. Under Steve Rhodes' charges Bangladesh won 15 matches from the 25. Bangladesh won their first tri-nation series in this period.

Bangladesh started their World Cup campaign after beating South Africa in their opening match. Now, they are in a spot of bother after losing back to back matches against New Zealand and England and a washout against Sri Lanka.

They are thinking nothing other than a win in the 17th June match against the Windies. Now Bangladesh are on the 7th position on the table.
