Bangladesh will host Pakistan under-16 cricket team on April. The visitors will play two three-day and three 50-over matches against Bangladesh under-16, confirmed BCB on Friday.
Bangladesh under-16 team have not announced the squad yet while PCB will announce the team in the second week of April.
PCB Director Zakir Khan believed that the upcoming series is a 'stepping stone' for their young cricketers for the high profile series and future events.

“This series is a stepping stone for the U16 players for the upcoming high profile series and future events. The Pakistan U16 side displayed a good account of themselves against Australia U16 in Dubai, and now it is their opportunity to further hone their skills against an equally tough side in Bangladesh in different conditions,” he said.
"The PCB has scheduled two three-day games as we are keen on providing an environment to our batsmen at a very young age where they can learn the art and technique of playing longer innings, and, at the same time, allow the bowlers to bowl long spells and fight tooth and nail for wickets. The longer and shorter versions of the game have to progress alongside each other so that in the longer run, we can produce sides that are equally strong at both red and white ball cricket," he added.
The squad will arrive to Dhaka on 25 April and open the tour with a three-day match in Fatullah on 29 April. The tour will conclude with the third 50-over match in Khulna on 15 May.

29 April – 1 May: First three-day match, Fatullah

10 May: First 50-over match, Khulna
