The ICC officially announced today the range of tickets across all teams and venues of the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 are now available for general sale on the Official CWC19 Ticketing Website.
The higher authority of the cricket world issued a media release stated: “The tickets for the tournament has been unprecedented with over 3 million ticket applications for approximately 8,00,000 tickets so far, from 148 countries across six continents.
The tickets will be sold on a first-come, first served basis on the Official Ticketing Website, so fans that missed out will have the chance to secure tickets immediately. Tickets across all teams and venues are included, with limited numbers for some of the most exclusive matches, such as those featuring hosts England, in addition to popular competing nations such as India, Pakistan and Australia.

Ticket buyers have been warned to only buy tickets from official ticket sellers for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019. CWC19 is continually monitoring illegal ticket resale activity and will act to cancel tickets offered for sale on unofficial third-party websites. As a result, fans are urged to approach third-party ticket sites with caution. Existing ticket purchasers will be able to view their seat details at any time from 10 am GMT on Thursday 21 March by clicking on the 'My Tickets' tab on the Official Ticketing Website."
ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 Managing Director, Steve Elworthy urged fans to be quick for the most sought after matches.
‘‘With the World Cup just around the corner, we are delighted to be able to put remaining and returned tickets on sale, giving fans the opportunity to secure a seat at the tournament, especially those who missed out the first time around. Tickets for all venues and teams are available and we would urge fans to be quick for the most sought after matches,” said Steve Elworthy.
“We will be re-opening the Resale Platform soon for fans that wish to sell their tickets in a safe and secure way. Hospitality packages for all venues are still available for those looking to experience the best each venue has to offer,” he added.
Meanwhile, tickets remain on sale for matches via Host Venues and associated authorised vendors. Fans can check the CWC19 ticket portal for listed vendors and are reminded to only buy from official sources. For more info visit the Official CWC19 Ticketing Website.
Fans who can no longer attend will be able to access the Official Resale Platform at a later date allowing tickets to be bought and sold at face value. Over 14,000 tickets have been put on the site and more than 13,500 sold, helping CWC19 to avoid secondary ticket sites over inflating ticket prices for genuine fans. This will continue to be the only official channel to exchange tickets with other fans (tickets.cricketworldcup.com).
CWC19 prohibits the resale of any ticket outside of the ICC’s Official Resale Ticket Platform. Tickets purchased from an unofficial source face the possibility of being a victim of fraud, with tickets not being delivered or being counterfeit, which will not secure entry on the day, with no possibility of a refund.
