Title aspirant Dhaka Abahani Limited received a huge injury blow as all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin is ruled out for indefinite time frame due to the back injury that is sustained while practising at the academy premises on Monday.

Abahani is all but certain that they will lose the service of Saifuddin when they take on Shine Pukur Cricket Club in the Dhaka Premier League encounter at Fatullah today. While a further course of action will be judged after seeing his condition.

“We have given him one day rest and if he sees he is not ok then we will go for an MRI,” Bangladesh Cricket Board physician doctor Debasish Chowdhury told Cricfrenzy Saifuddin scored two half-centuries and picked four wickets in the league so far.
