Cricket-world reactions over Christchurch terrorist attack

Different Cricket institutions and celebrities expressed their condolences for the deadliest terrorist attack at the Christchurch mosque on Friday and condemned the attack, causing at least 49 dead and 20 injuries. The members of the Bangladesh cricket team were present there during that time and were going to the mosque to perform their Jummah prayers.
But fortunately, the team were safe and hadn’t got any trouble. However, Cricket organizations including ICC expressed their concern on this horrendous incident.
ICC Chief Executive David Richardson: “Our thoughts and sincere condolences go out to the families and friends of those affected by this horrendous incident in Christchurch. Both teams, staff and match officials are safe and the ICC fully supports the decision to cancel the Test match.”
Virat Kohli tweeted: Shocking and tragic. My heart goes out to the ones affected by this cowardly act at Christchurch. Thoughts with the Bangladesh team as well, stay safe.
