Uttara, Prime Bank won as Khelaghar, Brothers eliminated

Uttara Sporting Club and Prime Bank Cricket Club started campaigns with victories in their separate matches while Khelaghar, Brothers eliminated after the day two of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) T20 on Tuesday.
Uttara defeated Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity by six wickets at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium (KSOAS) in Fatullah while Prime Bank handed a 47-run loss to Brothers Union at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Khelaghar and Brothers were eliminated from the tournament as they failed to win single in their two group matches.
Uttara vs Khelaghar

The match between Uttara vs Khelaghar has been delayed due to rain. However, after winning the toss Uttara bowled first and restricted Khelaghar 109 for 7 in 17 overs. Rafsan Al Mahmud scored the highest 28 runs while Moinul Islam added 20 and Robiul Haque 17 for their side. Abdur Rashid and Sajjad Hossain claimed two wickets each for Uttara.
With the help of Tanzid Hasan’s unbeaten 72, Uttara completed the target 110 for 4 within 15.5 overs. They won the game by six wickets.
Prime Bank vs Brothers
On the another match, Prime Bank batted first and scored 169/4 in 20 overs. Ariful Haque knocked 59 while Nazmul Hossain Milon scored 45 and Rubel Mia 44. Sharifullah picked up two wickets for Brothers.
In chasing of 170, Brothers’ batting order collapsed and failed to make partnerships. However, Fazle Mahmud scored 39 which is the highest of his side. Brothers finished on 122 for 8 in 20 overs. Monir Hossain bagged three wickets for while Abdur Razzak bagged two for the Prime Bank.
