The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Committee of Administrators (CoA) have announced partial fixtures for the 12th edition of India Premier League (IPL), starting from March 23. But the fixture is limited to the first two weeks or for the first 17 matches of the tournament due to the announcement of India’s Lok Sabha 2019 election dates.

The BCCI stated: “We [the board] will address all the issues for the first two weeks while preparing a schedule for the remainder of the season after the polling dates are announced.” The matches will be held from March to April 5, across the eight venues.

Every team will play four matches while Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will play five matches each.
