Bangladesh arrived on the shores of New Zealand for the three-match ODI series and three-match Test series. They took it as the preparation camp for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup in England. Channel 9 will live broadcast the game for the Bangladeshi viewers.

On the other side, the series is the last bilateral tourney for the hosts before their cruise to England. The Black Caps had recently concluded Indian series with a disappointment. They failed to compete in the ODIs and lost series 4-1. Though they fought back in the T20s and sealed series 2-1, the top order were under question due to failure.

According to the stats, Bangladesh haven’t won any series in New Zealand. Even, Bangladesh haven’t ever won a single ODI match in New Zealand against the home side. So, they the chances again to prove their worth while the hosts will aim to continue their winning streak.

Bangladesh have already got a blow as Shakib Al Hasan has been ruled out due to injury. Shakib is one of the highest scorers for Tigers in New Zealand. In the bowling department, spinners Mehidy Hasan and Nayeem Hasan might give a goof effort while the pace attack would rest on the shoulders of Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain and Mohammad Saifuddin.
