Sri Lanka’s Angelo Perera made a rare record in the history first-class Test match. He smashed two double-tons in a single first-class match.

The Nondescripts Cricket Club (NCC) captain hit 201 off 203 balls in the first innings against Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) and smashed 231 off 268 balls in the second innings during the four-day match.
Perera is the second man after Kent’s Arthur Fagg who did it in 1938. The 23-year-old Fagg struck 244 and 202* against Essex in Colchester.
Meanwhile, Perera has played 97 first-class matches in his career and has scored 6941 runs including 18 hundreds and 33 fifties. The 28-year-old has played four ODIs and two T20s for Sri Lanka.
