All doubts over Mashrafee bin Murtaza’s participation in the three-match ODI series against West Indies were diminished as Bangladesh Cricket Board included him in the practice game against West Indies.
The participation of Mashrafee was in doubt due to his willingness to take part in the upcoming National Parliamentary Election.
However, BCB on Friday announced Bangladesh one-day captain Masrafee will lead the BCB XI in the practice match against the West Indies at BKSP Cricket Ground 3 on December 6.
According to the press release opening batsman Tamim Iqbal, who has not played since suffering a hand injury in the Asia Cup in September, is also set to feature in thepractice match.

Earlier Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal said on Saturday that he is all set to return back to international cricket with the upcoming ODI series against West Indies.
Tamim, who was looking forward to feature in the series against Windies from the beginning, had to delay his return as he sustained a side strain while having an individual training on November 13.
‘’If everything goes well I should be available from the beginning of the ODI’s against West Indies,’’ Tamim told reporters at the academy premises on Saturday.
‘’But before that I am looking forward to play the practice game at BKSP,’’ he added pointing his finger for practice match scheduled on December 6.
During the lunch break of the second day the whole coaching staff headed by Steve Rhodes came down to the academy ground to see the development of Tamim.
Tamim started his first batting session against pace bowlers facing Mustafizur Rahman and Ariful Haque and Khaled Ahmed in the nets.
Tamim is currently going through a rehabilitation program after he was ruled out of the Asia Cup as he sustained wrist injury in the opening game against Sri Lanka.
