West Indies spinner Jomel Warrican said on Wednesday that they are not pointing fingers on the hosts for taking home advantage.
The opening Test at Chittagong ended in three days when Bangladesh defeated the visitors by 64 runs in Chittagong.
However, it did not come without an expense as the Tigers were blamed for producing a spin-friendly track to gun down their opponents.

When asked how he feels about it, Warrican said: “Wherever you go the conditions are different. In the Caribbean there is pace and bounce and even in Bangladesh there is spin and this kind of staff. When you come to a different condition, you have to be prepared as a team and only then it will come in your way.
“Obviously, Bangladesh wicket will offer turn; we have to be prepared for that. And when Bangladesh comes to the Caribbean, they will get bouncy tracks. So each team has a home advantage and they use their advantage.”
Warrican said losing Shannon Gabriel was a big blow for them as the strike pace-bowler was handed a ban for disciplinary reasons in the opening Test.
“It will be crucial. Shannon is always our strike pace bowler, fastest bowler as well. Also he has done very well against Bangladesh as well. Losing him is going to be key in this series. But we have ours in the circle to make up it and hopefully one of them will come and help us win this game,” he said.
Warrican added that whether the Test will have a similar result like it was in Chittagong or will last for five days depends entirely on how each team bat in their first innings.
“I can’t predict that. It depends how each team batted in the first innings. If both the teams scored a lot of runs, we can see the Test going into five days. If it is a low scoring game we can’t see that,” Warrican concluded.
