The Tigers not relieved despite leading the series

Bangladesh chief selector Minhajul Abedin said that they are not taking anything for granted against West Indies in the ongoing two-match Test series.
Bangladesh sealed a comprehensive 64-run victory against the Caribbean side in the first Test at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Saturday. Their spinners wreaked havoc through the opponents’ batting lineup to complete the game inside three days that helped them take a 1-0 lead in the series.
The Tigers are scheduled to play second Test from at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on November 30.

While the trip in the port city helped the hosts to play according to their strength by helping the four-man spin attack, the same cannot be guaranteed in Dhaka considering the adverse behavior of the wicket.
Test and ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Mahmudullah voiced their concern over the unpredictable nature of the wicket and though Bangladesh managed to score an over 500-run total in the last Test against Zimbabwe at the same venue to level the two match Test series, chief selector Minhajul looked to reiterate the same sentiment.
“The wicket in Dhaka is quite different and it is difficult to understand it,” Minhajul told reporters ahead of the second Test. “So there is no way we can take the West Indians lightly as they are very experienced and capable of winning at any place. But we are hopeful that we will win the match by giving our hundred percent.”
The chief selector said that though they are confident, the top-order still remains a matter of concern for them while the consistency of the middle-order needs to be more frequent.
“I think we are still worried about our top-order while the middle-order in also not scoring consistently. Because we are playing in low bouncy wicket we can fight with a score of 250 but it will not be the same in future as we will be playing lot of away series,” said Minhajul.
