We can dismiss them within 150 runs: Nayeem

Bangladesh spinner Nayeem Hasan said that they are confident of beating West Indies in the two-match Test series opener as they have the bowling depth to dismantle West Indies within 150 runs in the second innings.
West Indies left the first Test in parity, reducing Bangladesh to 55/5 on an action-packed second day as 17 wickets were fallen on an increasingly deteriorating pitch.
Bangladesh’s off-spinner Nayeem Hasan became the youngest bowler to take five-for on debut to give the side a handy 78-run first innings lead, dismissing West Indies for 246.

But the visitors’ spinners cut short the advantage to limit Bangladesh’s lead to 133.
Left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican (2-22) and off-spinner Roston Chase (2-16) did the most of the damage.
“We still haven’t been all-out. If we can play well, the score might reach 300-350. We might get all-out for a small total as well. If the score is big, then it will become for us bowlers,” Nayeem told reporters ahead of the third day.
“If we bowl in good areas, then it would be tough for them to score even 150 runs.
“Our goal is to bat as long as possible. We will defend whatever the score we get, because it’s a spinning wicket and we have a good spinner in Shakib, Taijul, and Miraj. Hopefully, we will not have problems,” he said.
