We will be confident against West Indies: Mahmudullah

Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah believes that the Test-win against Zimbabwe will help them take confidence into the upcoming series against West Indies.
Bangladesh earned a morale-saving win against Zimbabwe as they defeated the visitors by 218 runs after being defeated in the two-match series-opener.
“Naturally this win will help us to go into the Test series with some confidence. I am looking forward to carry on the momentum. We will sit with the team management to discuss the wicket against West Indies.

“Since we will start the series against West Indies after this win, this has been a good comeback.
“Everybody is trying from their respective position. Everyone is trying in training sessions. Because we were worried about the batting but now batsmen's confidence will be much better after this match. This confidence will help us in the West Indies series,” Mahmudullah said in the post-match press conference.
“Since they have played a series against India a few days ago, that might help them a bit. The conditions here are a little different.
“The most important thing is how well we are playing. They are a very good team. We have to be prepared mentally and physically to play on a tough wicket,” he added.
West Indies will play a two-day warm-up match against a BCB XI side at MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram from November 18 before the first Test that will take place at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. The second Test will be played at Sher-e Bangla National Stadium from November 30.
Bangladesh were embarrassed by the Caribbean side in a two-match Test series in July but made a comeback in the shorter formats. The Tigers failed to total over 170 runs in any of the four innings against West Indies in those Tests and registered their lowest-ever innings score by getting all-out for 43 runs in the first innings of the first Test.
