Bowlers shine for Rangpur on day-3

||Desk Report||
Subhashis Roy and Robiul Haque took a four-for each to help Rangpur Division strengthen their grip on the Tier 1 clash against Rajshahi Division in the National Cricket League. Rangpur have now earned a 108-run lead after the third day of the fifth round.
Rangpur rode on half-centuries from Rakin Ahmed (79), Naeem Islam (89), and Dhiman Ghosh (57) in the first innings to post a total of 336 runs.
Sunzamul Islam’s seven-wicket haul was not enough to inspire Rajshahi, who totaled 248 in the first innings as none of their batters except for Farhad Hossain (71) looked to be determined enough to play a big innings.

Coming on to bat in their second innings, Rangpur finished the third day’s play at a score of 20/1 after Sunzamul took his eighth wicket in the game. The batting side will undoubtedly look to score some quick runs and again attack the Rajshahi batsmen on the fourth and final day to have their best shot at the winnings points as doing so would increase Rangpur’s chances to replace Rajshahi at the top of the table.
In the other Tier 1 clash, Barisal Division and Khulna Division did not get the opportunity to start the game even on the third day due to rain and both teams are going to remain winless in this round as well.
