Shakib to return in Windies series?

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is not ruling out the possibility of him joining the national team at some point in the upcoming home-series against West Indies.
Shakib is currently undergoing a rehabilitation program to recover from the finger injury that had forced of the Asia Cup in the midst of Bangladesh’s campaign and also ruled him out of the ongoing series against Zimbabwe.

“I cannot provide any exact timing of my return,” said Shakib. “I might play the first Test against West Indies or the second Test, or I might not return until the ODIs. But the way I am improving, I won't take not much time.”
Shakib, who was expected to fly to the USA for surgery, had to be admitted to the hospital on September 27 after returning to Dhaka from the UAE just before the Asia Cup final. An emergency procedure was carried out to remove the pus from his injured finger but an infection has since ruled him out of action for at least three months at the time.
Shakib featured in Bangladesh’s tour of West Indies a few months ago, where he had to take painkiller injections in order to deal with the finger-injury that he sustained in a tri-series match against Sri Lanka in January this year.
