Bangladesh head coach Steve Rhodes said on Thursday that he is well aware that Zimbabweans will be like wounded animal fighting for their pride when they take on the host in the upcoming home series comprised with three ODI’s and two Test matches.
The Englishman urged his charges to guard against complacency as he believe the visitors will be looking forward to prove their point when the two sided lock horns after their recent debacle against South Africa.
Bangladesh will begin their campaign with a three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe from October 21 and followed it up with two-match Test series.

Zimbabwe, who will be eyeing to make a comeback banking on their familiarity with the condition prevailing in Bangladesh were recently crushed by South Africans in the three-match ODI’s and T-20 series.
South Africans cleanly swept away in the ODI’s while they clinched the T-20’s by two-nil margin with the last game being abandoned.
"Zimbabwe got a beating in South Africa. No team likes that. I expect a wounded animal,’’ Rhodes told reporters at Mirpur on Thursday.
‘’They will be fighting for their [existence] and I expect tough opposition,’’ he said.
‘’They may turn it on against us after the kick-back from South Africa. We are very guarded but we are also very determined to try and play our best cricket,’’ he added
