Bangladesh batsman Liton Kumar Das said that his maiden ODI hundred against India in the Asia Cup helped him to regain his confidence back after leaving behind self doubt.
Liton failed to showcase his talent in full scale until the massive hundred in the Asia Cup final despite being considered as one of the most talented batsmen of his generation.

Despite being in the Test and T20 team for quite some time a to keep his place in Test and T20 he failed to earn a regular spot in the ODI and remained out of contention for the opening spot in ODIs since October 2017after that debacle in South Africa.
He returned back to the Asia Cup bound ODI set-up on the back of the match winning hundred against West Indies in the series deciding third T20 and announced his arrival with a 117-ball 121 after being unable to play to his potential in the previous matches.
''My first ODI hundred is very important I was on the back foot for quite some time so for me it became imperative to perform,'' Liton told reporters at the preparation camp at Mirpur on Tuesday.
''My main aim is to be consistent because when I play domestic cricket I scored quite consistently [but that was not the case at the international level]. Now I am looking forward to make ways so that I can perform consistently at international level.
''I won’t say I have full confidence but certainly it released a lot of pressure. I am gaining confidence and when someone performs it is bound to happen from inside,'' he added.
