Bangladesh’s injured all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan said on Sunday that his condition is stable now and he is eyeing to make a comeback without a surgery.
Shakib, who was expected to fly to the USA for the surgery, was admitted to a hospital in Dhaka on September 27 after flying home before the Asia Cup final.
An emergency procedure was carried out to remove the pus from his injured finger, but an infection ruled him out of action for up to at least three months.

Shakib was forced to withdraw from the Asia Cup 2018 when the pain in his finger became unbearable due to the swelling during the tournament.
Although Bangladesh's physio Tihan Chandramohan sent his reports and X-rays to doctors in Australia and England, he couldn't identify the possibility of an infection, despite the swelling.
Shakib returned home on Sunday from Australia where he went a week back to have an opinion of physicians regarding his injured fingers and what will be his next course of action.
“The update is good. The infection is under control. But it has to be checked every week through blood test whether it gets aggravated or there is other problem,” Shakib told reporters at the airport upon his arrival.
“If there is any infection in the bone then there is no possibility of that going away via medicines since antibiotics travel through blood and it won’t travel to the bones. For sure there won’t be any surgery for the next six to twelve months.
“But the good part is I can play without surgery. As I can’t undergo a surgery right now – both I and the physio are thinking how I can manage to play without surgery,” he said.
