Rubel Hossain has been Bangladesh’s go-to bowler in the death-overs in white-ball cricket over the past few years. Apart from bringing much success to the team, he was also part of the team’s failure on many occasions, especially in the recent times.

There are several instances when Rubel failed to hold nerves at crucial moments causing the Tigers slip out their grasp pretty quickly. The pacer thinks those were the bad patch of his career, something he wants to get over.

“I always try to bowl well. For a cricketer good times and bad times will be there. I try how the good days can be brought after erasing [the memory of] the bad days,” the pacer said regarding bowling at the death.

Rubel wants sporting tracks to be in place for the bowlers to have some advantages. However, according to him, a different wicket will not affect his bowling or any other pacers’ bowling for that matter. He also thinks that 240-250 will be winning score in the current conditions.

“Of course, we pace-bowlers would like to have such wicket. I want whatever is good and easy for our team. Besides, we are used to playing on all kinds of wickets. It [change in wicket] will not affect our pace bowlers.
