Bangladesh premier all-rounder Sakib al Hasan has been admitted to the Apollo Hospitals Dhaka as his finger's condition is getting worse, said Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) sources on Friday.
Sakib returned from the UAE last night and was expected to fly to the USA to have his surgery on the injury that he sustained during the series against Sri Lanka back home in January.

However, he participated in the Nidahas Trophy and also took part in the tour of West Indies albeit, in the the Carribean, he had to take painkillers.
"Certainly his condition is not stable and that prompted him to get admitted to Apollo," said a BCB official.
"Pus is coming out of his injured finger and that is not a good sign although we are waiting to see what doctors advise him after assessing his condition," he added.
After returning from the West Indies Shakib wanted to do undergo the reoperation at the earliest possible time but as per the insistence of BCB he had to make sure that he is available for the Asia Cup.
However, ahead of the match against Pakistan his situation got worse and that prompted him to leave the tournament at midway.
