Bangladesh batsman Mahmudullah Riyad said that playing in crunch situations force him to his best shot and he enjoys being labeled as the crisis-man. Pressure situations bring out best of him when he takes up the role of crisis man and helps him to offer something good in the middle.
Mahmudullah was certainly not having a good time in the ongoing Asia Cup but delivered just on the right occasion with his match wining knock of 74 runs that still kept alive their hopes of reaching the final in the tournament.

When asked whether he enjoys the tag of crisis man, he smiled with validation – “Yes, I do [enjoy being the crisis man,” he told the reporters at the post-match press conference.
“The pressure gives me the opportunity to get into my rhythm and give back to my team as well.
‘’Pressure will always be there and we just need to find out ways to handle it, that's all,’’ he said adding that he enjoys being known as the crisis man.
Mahmudullah, who struck his 20 th ODI half-century, made 74 runs off 81 balls, but most importantly took some momentum away from the Afghans through playing some aggressive shots after getting his eyes in and later removed Afghanistan opener Mohammad Shahzad, as well as took a fine catch to dismiss Asghar Afghan to end the game on a perfect all and round note.
