Pakistan set to host more PSL games

After successfully hosting two playoff clashes and the final match of the PSL [Pakistan Super League], PCB chairman Najam Sethi has confirmed that eight or more games of the league will be played in Pakistan next year. Sethi is also hopeful about shifting the whole tournament to Pakistan someday.
“Eventually the whole PSL will come back to Pakistan one day, but at this stage it's not feasible,” he told ESPNcricinfo. "With every passing year, things are improving and, from the first to the third edition, we have continued to have more games in Pakistan. Next year eight or more games will come to Pakistan.”
The matches in Pakistan will be played across three venues. Lahore and Karachi are the two confirmed venues and the third one is yet to be decided.

The uncertainty surrounding PCB and the United Arab Emirates’ future association has also been dealt with and the UAE will remain the major venue for the league and Pakistan’s home fixtures.
The PCB had previously warned the UAE authorities to choose between them and other leagues as the country has launched their own T20 league and are also likely to host the Afghanistan Premier League.
However, according to a report in ESPNcricinfo, PCB has restored its relationships with the Emirates Cricket Board [ECB] by reaching a new deal. The ECB has will refrain from overlapping other tournaments with Pakistan’s home series. It will also halt all the cricketing actions for at least six weeks before the PSL starts in a bid to keep the competition free of other cricket in the country.
