Sabbir was dropped from the team due to misconduct

Sabbir Rahman seems to have landed himself in another problem just weeks before the end of his six-month-long domestic ban. According to a report in Cricbuzz, he was dropped from Bangladesh’s last T20I against Afghanistan due to misconduct. Following a verbal argument, the all-rounder was involved in a physical altercation with his teammate, Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
The report further added that it was team manager Khaled Mahmud’s decision to not make it into an issue as the board president – who had warned Sabbir before taking the call of banning him for six months saying it was his last chance – would take more stern measures.

“It was not that big an issue, just a misunderstanding. The incident is not even mentioned in manager's report,” an anonymous official reportedly said.
Sabbir was chopped from national contract, fined TK 20 lakh, and banned from domestic cricket earlier this year after he assaulted a fan during a National Cricket League match in Rajshahi. He had reportedly behaved aggressively with the match referee when called for a hearing.
The 26-year-old has already earned himself the unwanted tag of Bangladesh Cricket’s ‘bad boy’ because of making headlines for wrong reasons. In 2016, he was penalized 30 percent of his BPL contract money (TK 12 lakh) for breaching an off-field code of conduct as he took a female guest to his hotel room.
