Mashrafe praises Afghanistan

The ODI captain of Bangladesh, Mashrafe Mortaza, has praised the Afghanistan national for their spin attack. Bangladesh are set to play the Afghans later this year and Mashrafe took the opportunity to show them with his word of compliments.
The Afghanistan team beat West Indies to be crowned the champions of the World Cup Qualifiers and qualifying for the World Cup in the process. The fact that Afghanistan qualified for the World Cup after losing their first three qualifier games is a testament to how mentally strong and lucky they were.
Meanwhile, Mashrafe spoke about the Afghan units after their historic achievement and stated that Bangladesh could find it difficult against their spinners since they are of the elite level.

“Afghanistan are a good team,” said Mashrafe.
“Their spinners are almost unplayable right now. Therefore, it won’t be easy to handle them, especially considering how we struggled against spinners in the Nidahas trophy. We will have to play world class spinners [against Afghanistan], so it won’t be an easy job.”
There are a very few people that have the analytical skills of Mashrafe. Whatever he said above is a true reflection of how good Afghanistan’s spinning department is. Indeed, Bangladesh could find it really hard against Rashid Khan, especially considering how the Tigers struggled against the Indian duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar.
