Zimbabwe sack Graeme Cremer from captaincy

After failing to qualify for the World Cup for the first time since 1979, Zimbabwe Cricket have decided to take action and have removed Graeme Cremer from the captaincy of the side. It is also being reported that Heath Streak and the coaching staff have been asked to resign and have been given a deadline to do so.
An email was sent to Heath Streak by the managing director of ZC, in which—as reported by Cricbuzz—he wrote: "Further to our discussions, please give your technical staff (and yourself included) until 3 PM tomorrow to formally resign. After which time the technical team can consider themselves dismissed and relieved of their duties with immediate effect."

Heath Streak’s contract is set to end in October, with the contract of most of his support staff ending in May. According to Cricbuzz, the backroom staff that includes Lance Klusener, Douglas Hondo, Walter Chawaguta, Stanley Chiwoza and Sean Bell have taken legal advice before answering ZC.
