Australia to send in-form Renshaw to South Africa

With the admission of Steve Smith to playing a part in the ball tampering saga that has derailed the name of Australian cricket, he has been banned by International Cricket Council for the next Test.
Meanwhile, Cameron Bancroft might have evaded suspension from the ICC, but is likely to face a penalty from Cricket Australia with the verdict of the investigation still pending.
As a result, Matt Renshaw has been called up for the fourth Test. Like the circle that life is, Renshaw lost his place to Bancroft in the Ashes last year, but has forced himself back into contention with three centuries in his last five Sheffield Shield games, which he topped up with a match-winning unbeaten 81 in the final of the tournament that concluded a few minutes ago.

While it is unclear as to who the opener will replace with David Warner’s place in the team also under scrutiny, it is more likely that Bancroft is dropped out from the squad in favour of the Queensland cricketer.
