Jason Gillespie believes Australia will rise from the Ashes

In his column for the Guardian, former Australian pacer Jason Gillespie has revealed his opinion regarding the ball tampering issue. He stated that the acts of the Australian cricket team borders on hypocrisy due to the moral high ground on which they often put themselves when the opposition does something wrong or untoward.
“The brutal reality is that this team are seen as arrogant and all too quick to dictate 'the line' to others," Gillespie said in a Guardian column.
"The events over the weekend have exposed this as rank hypocrisy.

The former pacer, who has a double century to his name in Test cricket, added that the Kangaroos can get back up from this, but that it won’t happen under the leadership of Steven Smith or David Warner.
"Australian cricket will survive this and provided there is some honesty with the camp, it will hopefully emerge in better shape.
"New leaders will rise up and take the side forward. But it will not be Smith and it will not be Warner."
