Mushfiqur Rahim misses out by 6 runs


After the heart-breaking loss in the final of the Nidahas trophy against India, the Bangladesh team have landed in their motherland. Despite not being the favourites in the tournament, they not only reached the final but also gave India a run for their money.
Some valiant performances had to be executed in order to reach the final. The star in this regard has to be Mushfiqur Rahim. The wicketkeeper-batsman scored 199 runs in 5 innings and ended up as the second highest run-getter in the tournament.

Leading him by 5 runs is Kusal Perera of Sri Lanka, who made 204 runs from 4 innings. Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan made just 1 run less than Mushfiqur Rahim as he concluded his tournament with 198 runs from 5 innings.
