Qalandar set to replace Mustafiz in PSL
Bangladesh fast-bowler Mustafizur Rahman has been brilliant for the Lahore Qalandars in this season so far. He played three matches and bowled a total of 10 overs while conceding only 54 runs and picking up 3 wickets.
Although Qalandars lost all three of their matches, Fizz was sublime with his performance. The 22-year-old will now join the Bangladesh squad ahead of the Nidahas Trophy hence Qalandars had to rope in a replacement for the remainder of the games.
Lahore Qalandars have picked Kyle Abbott to fill the Bangladeshi’s boots. The COO and Manager of Lahore Qalandars, Sameen Rana has officially confirmed the news of the inclusion of Abbott.
“This is to confirm that Kyle Abbott will be joining the team as replacement of Mustafiz, who will be leaving for national duty on March 4,” said Rana.
