Khaled Mahmud reluctant to visit Sri Lanka as manager

Khaled Mahmud has reportedly refused to go to Sri Lanka as team manager. Earlier he had labeled the environment around Bangladesh team as “dirty” following their defeats against Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB] has not yet decided a head coach and Khaled Mahmud filled the void while serving as technical director. However, Bangladesh’s miserable run in the recent times has indicated the need for a head coach and their bowling coach Courtney Walsh has been appointed to do the job whereas Khaled was removed as technical director.

"He(Mahmud) refused to travel as manager," BCB cricket operation chairman Akram Khan said. "It is not yet finalized because he might change his decision if our president Nazmul Hasan ask him to reconsider his decision," he added.
A few days ago, Nazmul Hasan opined that Khaled Mahmud should go as the team manager, when he stated, "I personally feel that [Khaled Mahmud] Sujon should go as team manager."
