Former India player labels Bangladesh as a weak team

It seems as though Bangladesh’s recent failures in the last
two series have made them fall in the bad light once again, so much that former
India Test batsman, Akash Chopra, has labelled them as a weak opposition.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Chopra stated that the
upcoming Nidahas Trophy is an important tournament for the new players taken in
the Indian squad as it provides them with lots of opportunities. He also added
that the youngsters will not have to play against powerhouses like Australia
and South Africa and have a chance to do good here.

"This tournament is all about opportunities. There is talent
and they will get a lot of opportunities. They [Indian cricket team] will be
playing against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, not teams like Australia, South
Africa or England. So [they are] slightly weaker oppositions. [It is] T20Is,
[there will be] enough opportunities... let's hope that all of them do well.”
The Nidahas Trophy begins on the 6th of March
when India take on Sri Lanka.
